McDonalds- I'M HATING IT

I actually would give McDonalds (Southgate) a rating of -5 stars if that were an option! this morning the 15 February 2023 at approximately 07:53am, I visited the McDonalds- Southgate drive through hoping to get a quick breakfast as we had load shedding and water problems, so i was already running abit late late for work. I ordered two breakfasts that came with cappuccino and filter coffee respectively, at the ordering unit I asked the cashier if she could please add the sugar in the coffees for us as it was difficult to do so in the car and would also save me on some time- she gladly obliged, i proceeded to the next window to pay for my order and confirmed once more if she would add the sugar for me and she agreed once more, I then proceeded to the collection window and asked the lady if she had put the sugar for me... she said "No" they are not allowed to put sugar for customers, so I explained that I already arranged with the prior points of contact and before I could give any further explanation she called her very rude, arrogant and unempathetical manager ELSIE who rep**** as follows" NO BOETIE, GO PARK THERE AND PUT YOUR OWN SUGAR", Now picture this coming from an arrogant, rude person. if she said " Good morning Sir , Sorry we are not allowed to add sugar for our customers anymore, please park off and put your sugar before you leave (with a smile)"- I would not have been writing this review. I asked for her name and she made me wait 15 minutes for my breakfast order, guess that was her punishing me for her rudeness. McDonalds needs to pay attention to staff training, especially when it comes to people skills and false promises from staff members, in addition to this if your Managers are not morning people allocate them the night shift, but stop allowing them to spoil your customers mornings and work days with their attitude problems and lack of etiquette. #***
