McDonald's has a rockstar on staff at Mall of Africa!!

After fetching my daughter from school this afternoon, I had to rush to Mall of Africa for some stuff that I couldn't find at any other store around. Now, I hate coming to this mall because my daughter, who is on the autism spectrum, knows that this is where the rides are so I am unable to get anything done if I don't have time for her to play. Today was one of those days that we didn't have the time. I realised that load shedding is about to start so I rushed to McDonald's to get her some supper. Needless to say, my daughter was not impressed that we didn't get to play today, so she put on one of her biggest tantrums inside the McDonald's. HOWEVER, today was different because the manager (I unfortunately didn't get her name) tried her absolute best trying to calm my daughter down, even gave her an ice cream and got her meal ready as quickly as possible. She didn't know what was going on with my daughter, but she let me know that I'm not alone and that meant everything to me. She is a gem and I will be returning to let her know that I appreciate her effort.
