McDonald's Elim Poor service

I went to McDonald's at Elim, Limpopo on the 17 July 2022 to buy a chicken naggets meal for my 6 yrs old. We went via drive through, we placed an order and we paid as usual without even paying attention. But on collection we realise on chicken naggets where given. We tell the lady the order is incorrect, can they fix it and we will pay for the correct meal bcs this is not what we ordered. The lady argued and refused to help and told us we need to drive through again and go to orders to correct the order. We refused and ask for manager and she told us the manager is not around. Another lady appeared on the same window and told us to go park in front they will come and assist us there.

We waited at the parking for more than 15 minutes no one come, we decided to go inside. We had to relay the story again to the lady at the floor. They the decided to assist us, but they charged us for chips and drink as a separate order which amounted into R83 total cost for chicken naggets medium meal. When l noticed that l went back inside again and complained and they told me they cannot help me differently thats how the order was. I demanded a refund and l took my money and left because the was no way l was gonna pay that much for chicken naggets meal. I quick trip to McDonald's turned out to be an hour of war with the staff over an incorrect order they captured. I have been a customer of McDonald's in Fourways, and around Jhb for years since l have kids. I have never come across such a thing.

The ladies the where very unprofessional and arrogant. The next day the manager called us and said can we come to the McDonald's, he apologized for the treatment we received and gave us a chicken naggets meal.

We appreciated his gesture but the damage had already happened, and l don't think l will buy at McDonald's Elim anymore where l travel back home. The experience was just bad.
