McDonalds Doesnt Pay Their Employees

A friend of mine works at McDonalds, Nigel. Last week, she worked an extra 2 hrs for a colleague who had forgotten they had a shift and went our partying. My friend will NOT be getting paid for those 2 hrs.

What happened to the colleague? Nothing!

McDonalds employees get R 6.25 per hr, taxed and uniform deducted.

As they get fortnight pay, this week was pay week. My friend was R 600.00 short on her pay. She queried this with her manager and the manager confirmed that the pay should be full. Since they only get their payslips a week later, they will only be able to see why she was short paid.

I think my friend only got full pay twice since starting at McDonald's. Most fortnights, she gets short pay and doesnt know why. Some of the employees are *****ing the food and they deducted for that as well.

McDonald's Nigel, you stuck!! Treatment of your employees is WRONG!!
