McDonald's ***** behavior

Placed an order online via McDonald's App through the Meadow Dale GP store and only after I had paid online was I told the product is not available in store and had to choose another that's of a less value because I cannot be refunded. The lady on the line didn't even see an issue why this was a problem. How many times have they Said this to rip people customers.
