McDonald's Bad Services

Last week Friday I ordered food at my workplace from the McDonald's app for 5 people, the time I ordered the food was around 12:56 p.m. and the food was suppose to be delivered between 13:30 & 13:45 p.m. and we paid for the food through the bank, and the food was not delivered, and on the app it shows that they were still preparing the food and that was around 14:30 p.m. we tried to contact them but there were no contact details on the app. We contact about 3 to 4 branches but none off them could help us because our order was not on their system, we drove around to different branches to find help and the final stop we took before giving up searching for our order from McDonald's was Braamfontein.

We waited at Braamfontein for hours with no help until we started getting restless and the manager came to us asking what was wrong, we told her our problem but then she told us their system was offline from the head office side then she changed her story and said they didn't have our order. We then realized we were going in circles so we asked for their Head Office's number to take this matter to their seniors and when we called the head office they told us right after leaving the Braamfontein branch that Braamfontein did accept our order but they accept it right after we left the establishment, so the people that ordered the food already went home without receiving their food which was already paid for. Me, my other colleague (because three of my colleagues left) and my boss waited at work for the food to arrived which they took another hour to delivered, and we had to wait until 5 p.m. When the food finally came, there was one burger missing, with five chips, spilled cold drinks (and half drinks delivered) and their food was not up to standard and cold. Some colleagues had to spend they last pay for that food and we had to organize transport and medication because one of them was diabetic.

I got a call last week Saturday from McDonald's Braamfontein Customer Care saying they will refund my money and they still did not refund my money. I called the Head Office today to complain and they still putting me on hold, so I urge you please be careful with these establishments because they just take our money and they suffer no repercussions for it.
