McDonald's Auckland Park BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Yesterday (06 December 2023) I bought two Mc Feast burgers at a McDonald's Auckland Park drive through at 20:26:44 (order number 1895).

When we got home (me and my lady) around 21:00 we realized that the order we payed for, was not what was packaged. We had one Mc Feast and one Big Mc instead of two Mc Feast meal.

I wanted to drive back to get the correct order but we stay too far from Auckland Park, plus it was too late, and we only bought there because we where coming from that direction.

Then I decided I'm just going to call them and let them know that they gave me an incorrect order. For a while I though none was going to answer since the phone was just ringing with no answer.

I kept calling and then on my seventh call a lady named Irene Makhaga answered the phone. I told her about the wrong burger but then she says she is the one who packaged our order and said she is 100% sure that she placed two Mc Feast meals on our takeaway package. When I was trying to explain to her that we didn't get the two Mc Feast meals she start getting angry and shouting. I then asked for her cell numbers (071****458) so that I can send her the pictures of what was in the takeaway package.

After prooving (sending pictures of burger we had to her whatsapp) that the package was incorrect, she continued getting mad and shouting. I then asked her why is she getting mad when I am the one who is supposed to be mad. And says said it's just that I'm trying to be smart on her. And during this entire conversation she keeps on addressing me as sweety, my love, my dear and other while I'm asking her to address me by name (Andy). At the end she ended up even laughing at me as I'm explaining our situation.

I honestly don't understand how a company like McDonald's Auckland Park would keep such employees. Irene Makhaga shouldn't be working with people because she has a bad attitude. All she had to say was that she is sorry she mixed up the package, and then we would have arranged how we're going to fix that. She was so bad, my lady ended pulling out her phone and recording the conversation.
