McDonald's App ****

I went into McDonald's Daveyton today to redeem 5000 points for a big mac burger. The points were deducted off my balance and i could not complete the purchase as an error came up saying i needed 3300 more points to redeem my food.

When i walked in my points balance was 6700, i wanted to redeem 5000, which indeed came off my balance but i couldnt get my food and the lovely lady who assisted me told me when the points are gone, they are gone and nothing can be done about it. I am not satisfied with this at all because as a loyal customer, i always use your app to ensure i make the most of what it has to offer. But to be told 5000 points are lost and nothing can be done is unnacceptable. Please reverse my points immediately
