Mcdonalds App

I downloaded the app and when i went to the store to retrieve my coupon the store manager said the special was over last week. What is the point of having the special available on the app if its over? If the special is over the coupon should be removed from the app. I wasted my time going to the store and the manager on duty was so rude, had no interest in explaining anything.
