McDonalds Albemarle

McDonalds, Albemarle has a faulty card machine. When you pay with a card it declines the payment, but takes the money anyway and then takes it the second time. The manager told us that it happens often and it will reverse the “declined” payment within 24 hrs. It did not reverse and when we went back to the store, we were told to produce bank statements to prove that the payment had not gone through. She said nobody ever comes back with bank statements, we said that’s because it’s too much trouble for R 239. She then laughed at us and told us to get the bank statements. How many other people have been caught this way at McDonalds? And how much money is McDonalds *****ing??
