Complaint – McDonald’s New Market, Alberton

Well, McDonald’s New Market Alberton… what exactly happened here? 😂

We ordered 2 x Double Burger Meals, which, unless the menu has suddenly developed its own interpretation of mathematics, means two burgers per meal, plus the double cheeseburger that comes with the order.

Instead, we received ONE meal and ONE double cheeseburger. So apparently somewhere between taking the order, preparing it and packing it, one entire meal simply vanished. Impressive.

And then there are the burgers themselves. Calling them “burgers” is honestly being generous. They consisted of a patty, a slice of cheese and absolutely nothing else. No garnish, no lettuce, no onion, no sauce, no effort. Just a dry little patty sitting there looking like it had given up on life.

The size? Absolutely laughable. They were so tiny that I genuinely wondered whether someone had accidentally packed the children’s play-food version.

And the appearance? Like a burger you’d buy from Temu after selecting “surprise me.” 😂

For the prices McDonald’s charges these days, I expect an actual meal — not two miniature, dry patties wearing a slice of cheese and pretending to be a burger.

Maybe next time we should order the “complete meal” option, because apparently ordering a meal currently means hoping all the food actually arrives.

Very disappointing, New Market Alberton. The only thing that was “double” about this order was the disappointment.
