Mc Donald's New Town

Wanted a regular big Mac meal and was told it's not available so I should buy a medium meal then after 10 minutes of struggling to get network to place the order I was told I had to pay extra for my drinks whhhyyyyy? What happened to the simplicity of "fast food" Funny thing is, its not the first time this happens to me at this Mc Donald's.
