Mc Donald's closed for INSPECTION

I went to the Mc Donald's in Musgrave at 7am today, which is supposed to be a 24 hour outlet. I was turned away and told that they were closed due to food safety inspections by an employee. Surely this inspection or any other inspection can be conducted without closing the business and disrupting trade, thus loosing revenue and inconveniencing customers. I am the General Manager of an established restaurant and would never let my trade stop for an inspection, neither will my head office ask that of me.
