Mc Donald's Bayside mall
Myself and my friend went to Mc Donald's Bayside mall on Saturday 07/01/2023 around 01:40 am. The line was rather long and we got to place an order within the first 10 minutes, I ordered 2x Big mac meals Regular and was charged R125.00 meaning the meal worked out to R62.50 per meal. And isn't a Big mac meal Regular R51.90 per meal? I asked for the spicy sauce on both burgers thrice and the lady who took the order confirmed it thrice and after the third confirmation she asked whether we want it on the side or on the burger. I then confirmed once again that it must go on the burger. We waited about another 20 min before we could finally pay at the next window and only reached collection window after an hour upon arrival at Mc Donald's. I immediately checked the order an realized that there is no spicy sauce on the burger and asked the lady where the sauce is, She advised that she don't know and she's only here to hand out the meals (with an attitude). I immediately ask to speak to her manager where upon she shouted that there is no manager, only a supervisor. I then asked to speak to her supervisor. The supervisor came, still wearing a headset and I explained the situation. She the rudely told me that everyone is waiting long and that if I want sauce then I must go back into the line and join the queue again. I tried to argue with her and she walked away. We kept on hooting and requesting for her to came back. She finally came back and said that she don't have time for this and that we must just go back to the first window and wait. I asked her if she was the one who took the order cause I confirmed my order thrice and specified my order and expected that my order would be right and she said she don't care and they are short staffed and don't have time for this. I was so upset. We got the meals and it was already cold. There was no condiments (tomato sauce) in the bag and they didn't even bother putting in serviettes. The drinks were watered down as it has been standing probably for more than an hour and the ice melted. We were overcharged. Treated like ******* and left without the sauce and cold meals. I am furious upon till this day about the service we received from Mc Donald's Bayside Mall.
