Manager taking his moods out on his customers and staff for his own mistakes! He needs to own up and take responsibility for his actions.

My father and I had just been to Mcdonald's in Tokai. We ordered the Quarter Pounder Sharebox meal. At the receiving window, we were asked to park in the grill bay to wait for our order. The manager comes out to give us our order and once again they got our order wrong and brought us the Big Mac Sharebox meal. I explained to him that we ordered the Quarter Pounder meal. So he says, as he can see on the receipt, the cashier rang up the other meal. Already he hasn't suggested that he would correct it and wanted us to take the order we received. I then asked him if we can change it and if there will there be an extra charge? He says he will find out and come back to us and takes the receipt with him and goes back into Mcds. He sends out one of the girls to us, Marsha, with another Big Mac Sharebox meal. She was unaware of what the manager with us and was under the impression that this was also part of our order. Already here is the miscommunication happening with him and his staff. I explained to Marsha what we had arranged with the manager and told her that we don't want to change the order any longer and we are going to keep the one they had already have. She walks over to the car parked in the next grill bay with the same sharebox meal she brought to us and the customer was also unhappy and did not take the meal as they also got her order wrong. After checking our order I noticed they forgot our sauces and we called Marsha back to ask for it. While waiting for sauces, the manager comes back with a Quarter Pounder Sharebox meal and saying he has changed it and there is only a R5 extra charge. I told him that we no longer wanted it and told Marsha that we are going to keep the one we have. The man became immediately irate and started demanding that I must take the one he brought as he already changed the order and it is an extra charge. He made me get upset because he was not listening to me explain that I told Marsha that we do not want swap it any longer. I was trying to tell him that we said we are not changing the order and he did not come back to us to confirm whether we still want to swap the order or not. He kept demanding us to take it cause he had already made the change on the system and cannot keep the food aside. Then he went on about the meal costing more and costing R200.00 when he said it was a R5 difference. He made the change without any confirmation from his custormer or speaking to his staff. I told him we are waiting for the sauces and he stormed off angrily like he wasn't going to bring it. So I asked my father to rather leave because this is getting ugly. As we drove out of Mcdonald's passing the circle the man is standing in the middle of the road with poor Marsha and the Sharebox and sauces. We stop to hear what he wants and he demands to hear if we told Marsha that we want to cancel the swap. I confirmed we did and she also acknowledged it and in his rage he starts to get angry again and walks off. I shouted to him saying he was meant to confirm with us before changing the order and he did not come back and it was not Marsha's fault for his error. The poor girl requested that we come back to the restaurant as she was going to receive a warning. First of all, the manager arguing and forcing a product on the client is not acceptable, especially when you are not listening to your client. Secondly, for him to come all the way into the middle of the road and shame his staff and approach the clients in this way is totally embarrassing and unprofessional! I am totally disgusted by his behaviour and he was looking to bounce the blame onto someone else. Marsha does not deserve to receive a warning for her manager's actions. He should apologise to her for the public embarrassment and victimisation. I am actually quite embarrassed having to type this complaint but I feel I have to prevent the staff member from getting an undeserved punishment.
