MacDonald's false advertising (shocker?)

I went to Macdonald's in herm**** located in Sandbaai this evening and had a quite shocking experience. So everyone is aware of the deal that is available on the macd app where when u register u get a free burger or side or what ever u can get and 1000 points. So me being excited to register I opened an account headed to Macdonald's herm**** and asked one of their employees to show me how it works and she guides me I order and some time goes by and I ask but are they not going to ask me what Item I want, however the response I got was that I would receive no free meals as they advertise. Me thinking that this is false adverti*****t from MacDonald's side askes but why can I not get my order. The response was because I took to long for it to work when placing my order note that I only ordered a side Chips or its because I scanned before I ordered but no one guided me through the right process the manager did mention she is a newly recruited individual but do they not train their staff and what irritated me was that I am blamed for there incompetence and all these employees at fast-food restaurants can say is sorry sir I cant help u like *** why do we accept this behaviour but don't worry MacDonald's is in for a shock, I will start a petition and take it to the national regulator and lodge a complaint of false adverti*****t. Then they said that the scan didn't go though yet I received my 1000 points on the app and why do fast food employees have such attitude these days they are really going to push people to stop buying from them. If anyone knows their regional managers number which they refused to provide me, please to comment it.
