Lower than worst customer service

I was on the road with a family emergency in amanzimtoti and my kids were at home, 6 hour's drive away from me. I have ordered supper at McDonald's Springs mall at around 16:15. Despite numerous unanswered calls, I have attempted to request help from pick n pay to get someone to go to McDonald's and ask someone to phone me back. No help, just refusal. The very same incident with pizza hut. Both shops very close to McDonald's. I phoned the centre management several times, whom said I must just wait. Then they said they will call me back. Not getting any help, by 18:15 I placed an order with KFC through Mr delivery because my kids were at home, starving. After Mr delivery delivered, my order with McDonald's still showed "order received". Surprise surprise, 19:05 McDonald's arrived. Still no call or nothing. R260 order, and my kids have already eaten. Then the driver gives me a WHATSAPP CALL to tell me I can not be refunded???? Between McDonald's and Springs mall management's worse than bad customer service, I get REFUSED a refund??? Still??? This is not on. Do not waste your time buying McDonald's people. You're just adding fuel to bad customer service. Do not attempt to get any assistance from Springs mall management at either. They want to sit on a chair and let the day go by, just to get paid. A customer does not mean jack s#!t to these ******** people. I am so irate, if I could rate them -5 stars I would. Unfortunately you have to give a star to rate. Nauseating 😡🤮
