lost property

on the evening of the 2nd of April at about 20:30 we left the shop at the Highveld mall. after about an hour whilst at home my father in law realised he had forgotten his wallet at the shop and I returned to the shop at about 22:00 only to find the restaurant closed for walk ins and only doing drive through service. The security at the door got one the sales ladies to open the door and fortunately the wallet was recovered but with only the cards in it and all the money was missing(R 1700.00) to be exact. <br> <br> the sales lady claimed it was given to her by other customers, and she had no knowledge of the contents of the wallet. and my question to her was whether the cameras were working and I was told that they have not been working for the past three months!! and I subsequently asked whether the manager had knowledge of this matter and was surprised that he was not aware of our lost items.<br> <br> so I proceeded to ask their normal procedure under this circumstances and I was told that the shift manager must be called in to verify the contents of the wallet and this was not done.<br> <br> Furthermore, the store manager and the \consultant"have given me a run around by failing to address this.
