Late/No Delivery, with no Communicaton

i placed my order at 10:52 through the MDS. at 12:00 i was called by McDonald's Woodmead to let me know that the order would arrive in 15 minutes. i call back at 13:01, i ask the guy who answered the phone to tell me if the order will be delivered or if i should just cancel the order. he tells me to hold on, then a few seconds later the phone was put down.

since i was told that the order will arrive in 15 minutes, why was i not called to tell me once the clock hit 13:30 that the order is on its way or if its going to be impossible to deliver so that i can make an alternative plan? its too late to order from anywhere else now because all the other places are backlogged with deliveries at this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now im hungry AF, cant drive out because im busy, and im failing to function because im hungry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
