FOUND SALIVA/MUCUS IN MY MCDONALD'S DRINK

On 14 August I ordered a cajun meal on the uber eats APP from Mcdonald's, order number :#16B59 at Mt edgecombe, Durban branch. In my order on uber the uber eats APP I added a noted stating that I wanted mayo on my burger and not the cajun sauce and if my order was incorrect I would send it back as this error had been repeated in the past. My order took about 45 minutes to be delivered , which was a lot longer than the usual waiting period. (I have ordered from this branch a number of times before). At around 1:28PM a sales representative from mcdonald's (the person stated that they are from Mcdonald's and informed me of an iszulu name) called me to get clarity on the note I specified in the order. The call lasted for over 2 minutes. She said that she did not understand what I mean in the note as the burger comes with mayo originally and will only come with cajun sauce if ordered hot. She also asked me about ,adding extra chocolate sauce to my order, she said that this would cost an extra amount. (I also ordered a chocolate Mcflurry and specified that I wanted extra chocolate sauce on thr APP) I said that was okay ,and questioned her on how payment for the additional sauce will be made as I already paid for my order . I also asked her what I should specify in my order the next time when I order the meal to ensure that I get mayo and not cajun sauce. On the phone the Mcdonald's sales representative was sighing and advocated an annoyed tone when I asked these questions. I received my order by a man driving a delivery motorcycle. As i was drinking my cola ,3/4's way through, and buried under the ice , I found thick phlegm/saliva in my drink which looked like vomit/mucus. I was absolutely appauled and immediately felt like throwing up, I did not eat for the rest of that day and I still think about the diseases I might have contracted from drinking the cola with the mucus/saliva. I contacted Mcdonald's on Facebook and Twitter they asked me for my contact details to investigate the problem but they have not contacted me yet, I then went to the Mcdonald's mt edgecombe branch to resolve the matter, on 15 August. The dayshift manager who was present by the name of Njabulo stated that they would never do something of this nature and stated that the uber eats driver did it "because they do things like this". I tried to get assistance from uber eats on the matter , I informed them of the incident , they refunded me with r2 (the cost for the coke) and told me that they have no dealings with the preparation of the meal and that I need to contact the restaurant directly. I then called the Mt edgecombe branch again at around 7PM on 15 August and spoke to the nightshift manager who stated that she would have to call Njabulo (the dayshift manager) to get light on the matter , she then called back and stated the same story which Njabulo stated. (That the perpetrator is uber eats and not Mcdonald's). I then contacted uber eats again , and was informed that they are not involved in the internal preparations of the meal and therefore they suggested that I contact the restaurant directly. On 16 August I called the Store manager of Mt edgecombe ,Roshan. He was very rude over the phone and told me that I was making speculations , he failed to lodge my complaint he further stated that I should not have taken the complaint to social media and that "social media can do nothing for me". He further stated that the store will not lodge matters of a "petty nature" . He showed no remorse or concern regarding my ordeal and stated that uber eats is the perpetrator. The call between this store manager and I was futile and he gave me a call center , customer complaint number and said that I should speak to them because he can't do anything about the situation. I called the number and lodged my complaint with a lady by the name of Bellina . I told her that I have the sample of cola with the saliva still visible and that i also have pictures. She informed me that she will bring the matter to the attention of the senior managers. I asked Bellina for a reference number, she informed me that I will get an sms , I have not yet received a reference number or SMS.Later that day (16 August) I received a call from the manager , Roshan, from Mt edgecombe branch. He told me that he wanted to collect the specimen. I was very sceptical. I told him that I wanted the issue to be dealt with externally and that I wanted the specimen to be taken to the lab to be tested etc. He told me that they will pick it up and they will decide if they will send it to the lab to test. I refused. Immediately after our call, a lady called me and informed me that she is from the head office and that she wanted to collect the specimen , I was again sceptical as It is illogical for arrangements by head office to be made in such a short period of time. Furthermore , my complaint is against the Mt edgcombe branch and I don't want my complain being dealt with by them. I want my complaint to be dealt with externally by the regional managers. I am very upset by this situation, my bodily integrity was infridged and my health is at risk. Furthermore I have been emotionally tramatized by this ordeal. I have also incurred a lot of running around and cost involving telephone calls. I want my complaint to be dealt with accordingly and I am not leaving any stone unturned in this matter.
