False Advertising

I visited McDonalds in San Ridge, Midrand on 01/09/2024 via the drive through. I had previously ordered the Nazo Meals for R29.90 from another Macdonalds branch in Midrand , I have only ever ordered the burger meal and when I arrived at the drive through there was an advert at the drive through entrance also showing Nazo Meals for R29.90. However when I placed the order for the meal the attendant advised me that the meal was no longer R29.90 but now R39.90. I told him there was an advert right the entrance showing me a price of R29.90 he said that price is no longer applicable. I asked to speak to the manager as this is false advertising, by this time I already had other vehicles queued up behind me. Two employees then came outside and looked at the sign that I had referred to , after a short discussion with eachother they proceeded to tell me that the meals advertised were only for the chicken wrap and a chicken tender and the burger meals were not the same price. I was shocked by this as there was no disclaimer regarding this nor clear signage indicating it was only chicken . I didn't want to hold up the people behind me and just paid and left . However you can be guaranteed that I will no longer be visiting this branch again as they seem to be making their own pricing arrangements as my slip indicated a burger meal and not a Nazo Meal . They are taking advantage of their patrons.
