False advertising - Christmas in July Promo

I received an email today from Ubereats promising buy one get one free burger promotion called Christmas in July. Despite several attempts very early and throughout the day, I am unable to place an online order nor make contact with Brackenfell, Parow or Cape Gate stores. All calls unanswered and go to fax number. At this time (16h30) Mcdonalds does not even appear as an option on Ubereats.

I have attempted to use the app to lodge a request for help. Turned out to be a totally useless exercise . I also sent emails to Ubereats help and Uber and now received an automated mail from Ubereats stating that they did not receive my complaint (??????)

There is no online menu option to communicate or lodge a complaint about this type of misleading advertising. Dont be duped by the next promo they mail to you. Lets see if they respond on this platform.
