False advertising

I don't know why the McDonald's app advertises something and it not available at all stores. I went to McDonald's lenaisa (trade route mall) and used my points to buy grimace merchandise and I had spoken to an employee and asked if the items I am considering to purchase is available and I was told yes buy when it was time to receive the items I was told it's not available this was the 30/11/2024. I was than told to return in a week or to call and findout if it is present and I was told not yet I mean that points is my money and today is the 21/01/2025 and still no feedback or refund
