False advertising

Rating should actually be 0 for false advertising. I redeemed 2 x 2D movie tickets only to be told by the cashier 10 minutes before the movie could start that the codes weren't valid and that I need to sort it out with McDonald,s. After rushing off to McDonald,s (Cornubia Mall) I was then told by the manager there that there is nothing that can be done about it because their customer service is now closed. No empathy from this useless guy at all, as all he seemed interested in was looking at the woman that were walking pass the store. Bare in mind we spent money on Uber to get to numetro Cornubia mall to watch a movie which was supposed to be free not realising that Mcdonald,s were faultsly advertising these vouchers. Even the store manager admitted that they have had many issues with these so called free vouchers. We ended up paying R160 +for movie tickets because we didnt want to waste the trip. Really now McDonald,s. Is business that bad that you now need to start faultsly advertising.
