False advertising

It's really concerning that your TV ads don't correlate with what we purchase at your retail outlets. When the tax increment was introduced on the 1st of April, Mcdonald's proudly put out an ad saying everything goes up however their prices specifically on the Big Mac meal stays at R39.90.

Today i visited one of your outlets and i purchased the said meal only to find out that the price is now R41.90, which goes against the commercial ad that is doing the rounds.

Now my question is, how many people out there purchase the Big Mac meal at the increased amount, now putting that into monetary value it solely means that Mcdonald's is making a lot of money out of it as many customers don't bother looking at their slip as i have been doing in the past month or two.

You really need to pull the ad off TV's and radio as it's misleading the public or maybe i should just send the same mail to BCCSA ?
