Extremely poor service, and customer care

Exceptionally poor service and customer care...

This is how the story unfolds, we go to McDonald's for a quick meal. We ordered 2 chilli cheese burgers on a drive through. At the corner before pay point, there's some underground work which produced extremely bad smell, bad enough that the attendant who gives food close their windows immediately after serving client (I suppose to escape from the bad smell customers were exposed to.) We went to pick our order and left. When we get to the house, we then realized that we were given chips and 4 nuggets. Aggrieved by this, we looked for a slip to get contacts of the store, and the tel number there is ***... We however called a student (inconvenience) who stays near by to look for the person who gave us wrong order. When she got there, we explained to the lady that we were given a wrong order and need help. She said she will give our right order to friend and we explained we are 7km away. She said she will call a manager. The manager comes to the phone, do not introduce herself and told us they're sorry but we have to come pick up our food as they do not deliver and will not make means to deliver to us. We asked for her name and she bluntly refused. In laying our grievance towards the manager that she is a manager and must provide solutions that do not inconvenience us as we are inconvenienced already, she said we should finish it up with the person who gave us the wrong order (that was after we had suggested that they can bolt our food or give us petrol money to come pick up the food) Nb: at all material times, there was no sign of an employee with a name tag.

We were given a wrong order by a lady who identified herself at Unathi and said the manager is Refiloe

The phone calls that lasted over 20 minutes were made by us and not the shop. Even when we asked them to call us, they did not call... They made an excuse that their phones are broken.

This is extremely poor service. We paid for the good we did not get. Even now, 24hrs later, no attempts from the so called management if any to try to assist us.

We tried their non functional website to lodge a complaint. But it's not working... It's giving errors... Meaning this people are probably endorsed to provide poor service as there are no channels to hold them to account... Mxm...
