Dissatisfaction with service received

I went to McDonald in Parktown to redeem a voucher from the app but I did not receive what I went there to redeem. I was told the system was offline and the manager expected me just to leave. They did not try to compensate or anything. Why do they have specails on the app if they are not will to honour them?
