Disappointed in McDonald's Packaging!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent Uber Eats order from McDonald’s Umhlanga.

Considering the meal was significantly more expensive than in-store pricing, I expected at the very least decent packaging and care with my order. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible.

My cooldrink was placed inside the same bag as the food in a paper cup, which leaked all over everything during delivery. Since the order was delivered to my workplace, the leaking cooldrink messed the reception desk and even the floor.

By the time I opened the bag, the drink was almost half empty. The burger box was soaked through, the tissues were wet, the tomato sauce packets were drenched, and the burger itself became soggy underneath and completely inedible. The only edible item left was the chips.

For a meal that cost approximately R138, this level of packaging and quality control is shocking. Customers should not have to throw away most of their meal because basic packaging standards were not followed.

I understand delivery can sometimes be difficult, but drinks and hot food should be packaged properly and separately to avoid exactly this kind of mess and waste.

Very disappointed.
