Dear McDonald's South Africa, I would like to share feedback about the South African Breakfast menu. I do not eat beef, so when I ordered breakfast, I asked for chicken instead. I was surprised to be charged an extra R40 for the chicken patty. I was not asking for an extra patty; I was simply asking to replace the beef with chicken. As someone who cannot eat beef, it feels unfair to pay an additional R40 just to have a meal that suits my dietary needs. I would like to ask McDonald's to consider offering both beef and chicken as standard options on the South African Breakfast menu, without charging customers extra for choosing one instead of the other. This would make the menu more inclusive for people who do not eat beef due to allergies, religious beliefs, dietary requirements, or personal preference.
