Charged Twice for only 1 patty requested! Manager refused to help.

I was just in McDonald's with my daughter. We always purchase the Happy Meal with a veggie patty. I saw that I was being charged for an extra patty. I queried it. She said that if anything is added, it's charged for. I told her that I wasn't adding anything, I was replacing the meat patty with a veg patty and had never in the 5 years I been going there been charged for it.

That's means I being charged for a meat and a veg patty, which is double. I only want 1 patty.

The manager came and said the same thing, that I had to be charged for both patty's. I told her that I had never been charged for it as I only want 1 patty, the veg and not the meat. She refused to help me.

I had to leave my young daughter disappointed about the Happy Meal and leave - as I can't pay for 2 patty's when I actually buying one.

I feel you should know that customers are being charged twice. I've often been to other restaurants and Take Away Places and never been charged for an extra patty just to get a Veg Patty instead of a meat patty.
