Buy one meal and pay twice @ McDonald`s

Went to my closest Mc Donald`s store (Okovango Crossing Kraaifontein). Went thru the drive thru on the 27 June 2020, placed my order and proceeded to the pay point, at the window the lady helping me asked that I tap my card, tapped my crad and waited about 45 seconds, could see the machne said something, she read it, started pushing cancel and asked that I tap my card again, just before tapping my card for the second time I recieved an SMS confirming that the transaction was autorised, I told the lady that the transaction went thru. there was no slip printed that showed transaction failed. so she asked me again to tap my card, being in a bit of a hurry I tapped my card and the transaction went thru for a second time. I collected my food and parked the car and entered the store to speak to the manager as I had proof of both transactions. I spoke to the manager and she told me to wait 24hrs as she is sure that the bank would automatically reverse the one transaction. 48hrs later I went back to the store, when I got there the lady immediately recognized me, I logged into my bank account on my phone and showed her that both transactions has been deducted from my account and nothing has been reversed. she then said that it can take up to a week for the transaction to reverse. ( At this point I was already annoyed). A week pasted and still no sign of the money in my bank account. I went back to the store for the 3rd time regarding the same matter. the lady took my name and number and said that someone from head office would contact me to make sure the money gets paid into my account as they would need to get bank statements from me to prove that the money has been deducted twice and that it has not been reversed. I waited another week and still no call or email regarding this matter. then I went onto their website and reported what had happened and still to this day still no reply or contact from them regarding this matter. and at the end of the day this is going to cost me more time and money to get my money back than my initial order of R204.80.
