Big Mac Bullies - unfulfilled promises

<p>A Mac Donalds s****** driver ran into our car, nearly ****ing himself and causing thousands of rands damage to the car. Mac Donalds immediately admitted liability and asked us to get 3 quotes to repair damage, which they would pay us to have repaired.</p> <p>once they had the quotes (DEC 2016), they sent their assessor who took the lowest quote and reduced the costs given by the panel beaters and deducted some items including the broken windscreen. Which was not broken before their driver hit it with his body but thgey claim that the windscreen must have had a chip in it to crack on impact! It was fine beforehand and had been checked by PG Glass as an insurance check 2 weeks previously when renewing policy..</p> <p>We are stilll waiting for feedback as to our refusal to accept their lower than the lowest quote offer. where will we find an even lower quote and why should we? Also we will have to hire a car whilst repairs are done. Is this fair? We should not be worse off than before the accident. No feedback in over a month! </p>
