Bad service
Formal Complaint Regarding Service at McDonald’s Protea Glen
Dear McDonald’s Customer Service,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the poor service I’ve repeatedly experienced at the McDonald’s branch in Protea Glen. As a loyal customer, I visit this store at least three times a week, primarily for breakfast and occasionally for lunch. I typically arrive around 10:00 AM, in time for the breakfast menu. If you refer to my activity on the McDonald’s app, you’ll see I’m a frequent and consistent visitor to this location.
Despite my loyalty, I’ve encountered a recurring and unacceptable issue. The staff at this branch have developed a habit of switching off all power outlets when customers, myself included, connect our laptops and attempt to work from the store. I often take work calls and attend meetings while seated there, and this abrupt power cut disrupts my productivity and causes significant inconvenience. It feels deliberate and inconsiderate especially when the store otherwise promotes a comfortable environment for dine-in customers.
I’m confident that I’m not the only one affected by this. I believe many customers who choose to work from this location would echo my frustration. This kind of service undermines the customer experience and is completely at odds with what McDonald’s stands for.
I kindly request that this matter be taken seriously and that steps be taken to ensure the Protea Glen branch stops sabotaging paying customers in this way. I’m happy to provide further details if needed.
Sincerely, Lerato ***)
