24 Jul 2020, 19:34 Poor service at MacD in Hamilton Street Pretoria Went to the MacD in Hamilton Street, stood in the long drive through queue and I ordered Medium Big Mac with Stoney zero and I asked to swap the normal fries with chilli cheese fries and I asked the person helping what would be the difference and she said R10 and I added an extra jalapeno sauce. I was told that it would be R59.40.

Upon picking up my order after paying I noticed that there were two types of fries the normal ones and the chilli cheese fries and I checked my slip and saw that there was a charge of R15 instead of R10. I really did not care that they had put extra fries but what I was told and what I was charged.

I tried to explain but seems like I was talking by myself until I asked for the manager and a lady called Amelia Molefe came to me, no apology no empathy nothing, all she did was argue with me that it's the system and not their fault. I tried to tell her that the person who took my order said it was a difference of R10 but she kept on arguing with me and said that she will refund and ring my order again and I should decide which fries I wanted. I was shocked at the level of service from them. Even the lady who took my order came to the window to further argue with me and not apologise. I have been coming to this MacD for almost 14 years and the level of service is going down and it's sad.

After Sitting in the queue for so long I was so agitated and just wanted to eat but I left without anything and bitter taste in my mouth from how I was treated.
