Bad food & Bad service

I just drove away from McDonald’s in Protea Glen, everything was going well until I received my order.

I walked in and ordered 2 latte coffees and 2 blueberry ****ins, the lady punched in the order and billed me. She then went to the back and came back to tell me that the ****ins are frozen and would require her to put them in the microwave to defrost them, I asked if they were fresh and she reassured me that they were delivered on Monday (the previous day), I decided to change to a chocolate ****in instead. We waited for our order for more than 10 minutes. We received it and we walked out. As I opened my chocolate ****in it was mooshy, that I understand as it had to be defrosted, my issue is the funky smell it had. I asked the person I was with to assist in examining this ****in, they agreed that it had a funny smell and didn’t smell anything like chocolate, we then opened the blueberry one, it was okay but mooshy as well. We turned back to inform the cashier (Nomfundo) of our dissatisfaction, her reaction was offish and had a bit of an attitude and asked if she should rather give me a frozen ****in (I’m not sure what she wanted me to do with a frozen ****in, I’ve never had to indulge in one before) and this was even before she asked what my issue was and checking if my complaint was even valid. She then called her manger (Sello) who just stood at the kitchen and said to the cashier “just refund her” I was amazed as he also didn’t come forward to analyze the complaint. He then came to the till and said to the cashier “so this is a waste” (referring to the ****in) all this while punching in the till for a refund, after he gave me my money back he asked what the issue with the ****in is, I told him it doesn’t smell fresh, actually it doesn’t even smell like chocolate, it just smelled a bit fishy or something, he (Sello) kept on insisting that it smelled like chocolate and this was even before he smelt it, he didn’t see anything wrong with it.

This was very bad service I received from McDonald’s, I doubt I will ever buy from this shop ever again.
