Appalling Treatment from Crew ID 53

<p>If you look at the comments from HelloPeter and other mediums on McDonald's, it's quite clear how unfavorable it's become! There is a lot that can be said about the food, but the service is absolutely appalling to say the very least! One McDonald's that has completed *****ed your image is the one located in the Gauteng Province, Cnr Heuwel Avenue & Hendrik Verwoerdburg Dr, Centurion. My friends and family members have reservations about ever visiting that branch, and we will consider whether we'll even go to any other branch - and this is all thanks to the degrading treatment that we received from the staff that worked an overnight shift on Sunday morning the 28th of August 2016. One employee in particular who showed us such disrespect and did not even serve us, yes we were not served, was Lindiwe Shai. She blatantly refused to serve us because we asked why we could not order from the drive-through. She just said 'I told you to go inside' - walking away from the window, hands in the air, leaving us in awe! She had been telling us to drive to the next window, drive to the next window, only to arrive and be undermined as though we went to McDonald's to beg for food! The disrespect, the attitude - so demoralizing it was unbelievable! A male colleague came to assist of which we demanded to see the manager in charge. The manager, Khaya, came to the window offering to help with our order, which we did not want anymore, and wanted to apologize and move on. When we asked why he is apologizing and not the lady at fault, his reply was that he cannot do anything about Lindiwe who does not want to come and apologize herself. He then said, 'I cannot force her but can take your order'. So disappointing coming from a person who is supposed to be in control of his staff. Needless to say, the store manager whom we were referred to, Jane, ignored all of our calls and text messages (I still have the text). Is this what McDonald's is about? Is this the type of treatment that we must come to expect from the people that represent your brand!! To this day, I absolutely do not see myself driving anywhere near a McDonald's, any branch really! What is worse is that I was with my younger brothers who were visiting and they had to be exposed to such behavior which has put them off McDonald's completely! Absolutely appalled Crew id 53!!</p>
