An hour!!

So we went to McDonalds yesterday as bit of a treat, ordered a chicken sharebox which is meant to have 2 Spicy Cajun Chicken burgers, 2 junior chicken burgers, 2 medium and 2 small fries, and 2 medium and 2 small drinks. So I order and pay and get the bag of food. Cool. head home, looking after a friends kids for the night as they at a function. I get home all excited, open the bag and oh look, they didn't bother putting the junior chicken burgers in.... So I call them up, explain, as nicely as I can whats happened and tell them that I really can't afford to drive all the way back now. The gent at McD's says no problems will send a driver to drop it off now. Sounds great right. An hour later, kids are grumpy now being all hungry, the adults in the house haven't eaten either cause I mean eat in front of kids who are hungry, not nice, anyway an hour later I phone back, have to explain the entire situation again, and get the reply, yea all our drivers were out.... All your drivers were out for a solid hour? How EXACTLY does that work? Anyway so now I'm a little upset and tell the gent just get me the food i paid for. He says he'll send a driver now. The driver then calls me and tells me to go stand in the street cause he doesn't know where exactly he's going. So here's me standing in the street, at like 7:30 at night hungry and at this point annoyed, waiting for the food I originally ordered. Finally the guy gets there, gives me the little bag, i head in, the kids take one bite and spit the burgers out. They tasted as if they were made an hour ago, forgotten, then microwaved and delivered. Bottom line 4 hungry people pay for food don't get it and are forced to eat cold or microwaved mcd's. Not a great experience.
