Absolutely disappointed by the McDonald's delivery

I placed an order for delivery around 8pm and by 9:15 there had been no delivery and I assume this was due to the rain which is understandable. What infuriated me is that when I checked my order online it said that it had been delivered. Which was strange a nothing had been delivered to me. I called into the call center and I spoke to a lady my the name of Nompilo who was absolutely amazing and very helpful. I commend her for customer service delivery. She got the Jean Avenue McDonalds to call me back and when did the story they told me was unbelievable. She says that orders are updated as delivered once the driver arrives and in this instance the driver had not come back. When I asked her why they *******ly updated the system before the driver came back she could not give me a solid reason. McDonald get your house in order. If you can't honesty manage the delivery system with honesty then maybe you shouldn't have one. There's nothing wrong with experiencing delays due to unforeseen circumstances but there's everything ethically wrong with updating the system with false information
