A little effort won't hurt

Today an order was placed on Uber eats where the total order came to an amount of R270+ I then get a phone call to say there is no ice cream and could they replace it for me. I proceeded to say no and want the credit of R72 back for the items they don't have. I was told by McDonalds Maitland I need to call Uber eats. They took the money but couldn't proceed to provide the refund. The person who called was rude and not very helpful. The knowledge lacked by the management to get this resolved is actually appalling. I was never provided with the credit card difference. I wasn't offered an update nor an apology. This is pathetic from this brand and those employees shouldn't be in the relevant positions as there are people who look for work daily and will do the job with pride. I'm disgusted in the service received.
