30 minute wait. But The manager doesn't care because "I got it anyway."

Today I went to Mcdonald's at 15:36 (Bayside, Table View), the wait time for my meal was 30 minutes! I stood at the counter waiting and after I saw all the customers that were behind me in the queue get their food (some orders larger than mine), I started to get frustrated. I called a staff member and asked when I could expect my order and she took my slip and then walked off to find my order and never returned. I then called a manager and complained that I had not received my food after 30 minutes and that my order was no longer on the board, she looked at my receipt and asked the staff where my meal was. No one could answer her. They all ran around the kitchen looking for my meal and eventually pulled out it from near the drive-through window. I got angry and told the manager that it should be cold after 30 minutes (THIS IS WHERE IT GETS SHOCKING) she sticks her hand inside the bag feels the chips and says no it's still very hot! At this point, my mom walks up hungry and irritated and grabs the food walking off. I walked away and then decided this wasn't right, and went back to confront the manager. I called the manager and told her that the 30-minute wait really wasn't ok, she turns around as says "well you got your food didn't you." I told her this wasn't the point and expecting a customer to wait 30 minutes for food is ridiculous and then being rude to top it off. To this, she says she can't help it its shift change, and it's not her fault. After being rude she then gave a lame apology and said it won't happen again. I'm not her boss, I am a customer I don't want to hear how it won't happen again! So because the manager feels that it is not her fault that I had to wait 30 minutes for one meal and a burger, please tell me whose fault it is? Mine for not going to cook the food myself?? I have the receipt as proof of my order.
