Good day Nompumelelo,
Our records indicate that you were sent a R20 and R50 SMS voucher as replacement of the 2 packs of product that did not meet with your expectations.
As per our email of 26 January and from your complaint description, it is almost certain that at some stage the product has been through severe thermal abuse (i.e. thawed and re-frozen). Frozen foodstuffs retain their freshness and nutritional value while properly frozen, but tend to lose their colour, flavour and texture through a temperature abuse cycle. Due to the frozen nature of our products, we continue to address these types of challenges throughout the supply chain of transporters, distribution centres and Retailers, to ensure that you, our valued consumer, receive the best quality McCain product.
If we can be of any assistance to you in the future, please do not hesitate to contact us on our toll free number ***or alternatively on email at ***.
