Virus or antivirus?

So Dell is so \awesome"it comes with a free year subscription of mcAfee. So the first issue was that the computer entirely stopped working and had to be refreshed and I lost all my work when I tried to install another LICENSED antivirus. So after all the trouble and uninstalling the PAID LICENSED antivirus I decided to just carry on with life. Now out of nowhere the computer crashes again after I connected another screen and the computer wont restore to its last backup and the error is caused due to the antivirus mcafee. And seeing as they dont respond on hellopeter I am definitely sure that this antivirus is more of a virus than anything else. I suggest when anyone buys a laptop with the free mcafee antivirus ask the techs to first unistall it and install a real antivirus before you use the computer. I have more issues with this laptop that can even be expressed. Upset with Dell"
