Four months of stories.

In October 2023 we obtained a quotation for a shower door as part of a maintenance project for a client. We got the go ahead and paid MC Glass in full for the supply and installation of the shower door on the 30th of November 2023, and we were assured that the installation would be completed before the close of business in December, however we were told that the glass had broken and new glass had to be ordered. When we started enquiring about the installation in January we were met with confusion, and promises of following up which never materialized. In February we were asked for the measurements of the door, and then later they advised that that a site visit would be required to measure the door. This is extremely frustrating as this had already been done in early December. On the 21st of February 2023, my client advised that he had gotten someone else to install a door and wants a refund. The matter had become urgent as replacement of the door was a necessary requirement in the sale of the property. I immediately contact the Stoffel and advising of the situation. It is ludicrous to expect us to wait 3 months for a shower door, especially considering that we they were paid in full. This is also ruined our relationship with our client of 3 years. At the date of writing 11 March 2024 we have not received the refund that was promised.
