Complete Disregard for the customer

I am a person who normal gives small businesses a benefit of a doubt, but @mc carports had dismally disappointed. I gave him a Spec, telling him that I want to put garage door, and that he should put a heavy duty carport. Guy decided to cut costs and supply only 2 legs and not 4. He also decided to completely disregard my specifications and wishes and do whatever he felt, without communicating to me. He came promised the job will be done 2 days 2 days after he got the deposit, he took close to a week. He came, drinking. Would at 2pm. Gave him the deposit on the 15- the day he was meant to start, only started on the 17th. He “Finished” late in the evening on the 19th, on the 20th in the morning I told him that the carport he put was not a heavy duty one as paid for, as this will not hold up the garage door (like we had discussed numerous times. The gutter that he also put in was flimsy and had started to fall. Even though he told me I have 3 months warranty. I called him daily to come fix these issues for the last 2 months, and its either my calls are ignored or promises he will come and never comes. I have now resorted to getting a 3rd party to come fix all these issues and have to spend an extra R1500, after getting a “Heavy -duty” carport. I am at my wits' end and he frankly doesn’t care. This has been my biggest regret using his services
