ill-treatment

I would like to bring the following to your attention as I could not stand hearing what I heard when I was at one of the MBT garages in Polokwane – the one next to south gate.

I wanted to use the bathrooms and on arrival to the entrance to the bathroom, I found lady standing there and out of curiosity I just happened to ask her why is she not having a chair but just standing on the door and that is when she explained to me that should she sit down that would be end of her job. She mentioned that the policy is that she should be standing for the entire shift without sitting down, just waiting for us to use the bathroom. She even indicated that there were CCTV cameras installed to monitor them.

I am still disturbed and shocked by what I experienced
