Mbotyi is an amazing Lodge - beautiful and peaceful. Management however is shocking and not professional

Mbotyi is an amazing Lodge - beautiful and peaceful. Management however is shocking! We have booked and paid a superior room - as these rooms have aircon and fridges. However our power was off ( not due to load-shedding ) every morning for 6 hours, so had no use for fridge or aircon. Requested a refund between a normal room and superior room management claimed we never raised this. However we complained every morning. The ice machine broke and management told us we will have to go get ice ourselves in town ( and this is after spending 28k for 6 nights for 2 adults and 1 child. The lodge was not maintained during the day as management said " it was too quiet" glasses we left at the pool bar was still there 2 days later. The bar was not open until 1pm, some days 11am - but by frustrated managers saying ; its too quiet to open". We also went on a hike, where management failed to tell us its a two hour drive to get there and said its a "quick drive". Management joins guests for dinner every night. Does a quick round table, and then sits and eats - is not involved in the active management and running of dinner service. Only 1 manager ( which was very new and good ) was visible during the day. The others was nowhere to be seen unless they eat or smoke. Upon requesting the owners details so that i may provide him/her the feedback it was refused. I dont believe the service or standards justifies the amounts you pay. And secondly management is not at standard at all.
