REMOTE nt working

i went at at the dstv agency to buy a new remote for my hd pvr and the remote did nt work after i took it home and i kept tellin the agent its nt the same remote as i have at home and was assured its going to work,,,,,da remore does nt work and when i looked at it it does nt even look as the one that came with the hd pvr,,,,i tried using is on my friends old sd pvr and it work,,,,,it does nt work on any hd-pvr,,,,even tried changing modes on remote,,,took it with my hd-pvr back and was told they wont change it for me as i choose the wrong remote,,,,asked the store manager, a person by the name of isaac mogotsi whos is the owner told me to buy another one and they wont swap for me and i had a reciept with me,,,,my money is gone and im nt enjoying my pvr without the remote
