Unable to get the paid up letter

I am extremely frustrated with the difficulty I am experiencing in obtaining a paid-up letter and confirmation that my HomeChoice *** has been fully settled and closed. I have settled my HomeChoice *** in full, and I am simply requesting the necessary paid-up letter and written confirmation that the *** has been closed. Unfortunately, I have tried contacting MBD on more than three occasions, at different times and on different occasions, but I have been unable to get through because the phone is either not answered or I cannot get the assistance I need. I find this unacceptable. I have done my part by settling the account, and I should not have to continuously chase MBD for documentation confirming that the debt has been paid. I am therefore formally requesting that MBD: Provide me with my paid-up letter without further delay. Provide written confirmation that my HomeChoice *** has been closed and that there is no outstanding balance. Confirm that the *** has been updated accordingly with the relevant credit bureaus, where applicable. I also want to make it very clear that I will not accept responsibility for any additional fees, interest or charges that may have been added after my settlement, particularly where I have made repeated attempts to contact MBD to obtain confirmation and close off the account. I have made every reasonable effort to resolve this matter. It is unfair for me to be penalised financially because I cannot get through to MBD or receive the documentation I am requesting. I expect this matter to be resolved urgently and my paid-up letter and account-closure confirmation to be provided without further delay. MBD, please do not make me keep calling repeatedly for something that should be a straightforward request after an *** has been settled.
