Tired of harassment, verbal and emotional abuse.

Being harassed for prescribed debt. Agents are rude and disrespectful. The debt prescribed by no fault of my own. My contact number details have not changed. Asked for information to send formal notice about the account in question to no avail. They are harming my credit score by keeping a collections account on record and sending to bureaus. The agents are full of threats and seem to enjoy a verbal battle than providing a straightforward solution or answer. This company is infringing on the POPIA act. I will take further steps to fight for my rights. Need to find the appropriate path and ombudsman. I have one account to my name that will be paid off soon but here I am been dragged through the mud.

Today and agent said "confirm your address, we will come and take your house!"

Wish the owners would fix their script, business process and train their employees.

The situation would be so much better! Ps. If the account in question did not prescribe, I would gladly make arrangements to pay it. Because it's the right thing to do. Also following the law is THE RIGHT THING TO DO. The prescription of debt law is in place for more reasons than 1 and this company thinks it can get away through sheer harassment and fear mongering people to pay.
