Threatening me to pay money I do not owe

I have received several sms's from MBD Attorneys threatening me that legal action will be taken against me if I do not pay R1200 on my Emfuleni account. I phoned and asked how much I owed Emfuleni, the answer R233.00. I paid the R233 immediately, I have not even received an account from Emfuleni yet for this amount. Then I again received an sms threatening me with legal action if I do not pay R1200. <br> <br> MBD also phoned my husband and told him that we have to pay R1200 or legal action will be taken. My husband does not pay the bill and thought maybe I was behind so agreed to pay R1200. <br> <br> I have now spoken to several people and every time I am told that it will not happen again but then I receive another sms again threatening me with legal action. What kind of system is MBD running that they can threaten me to pay money I DO NOT OWE.
